Immediate Opening – Project & Application Engineer – Automation Company: SAMMS Tech Automation Location: Chennai Experience: 2–5 Years Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field) SAMMS Tech Automation is looking for an experienced Project & Application Engineer to interact with customers, understand project requirements, prepare technical presentations, coordinate with the design team, and support quotation preparation for automation projects. Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements, specifications, and project expectations.
- Prepare and deliver PPT presentations to customers regarding automation solutions and project proposals.
- Analyze customer requirements and communicate them effectively to the design team.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for successful project execution.
- Prepare and support technical and commercial quotations.
- Follow up with customers regarding proposals, project discussions, and approvals.
- Attend customer meetings and site visits whenever required.
- Support project planning, documentation, and execution activities.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal departments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into project specifications.
- Experience in quotation preparation and customer handling.
- Valuable coordination and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation, SPM Machines, Robotics, or Manufacturing Projects is preferred. Preferred Industry
