Job Opening for Assistant Manager Safety

Experience : 15 Years

Qualification: BE/BTech & Diploma in Industrial Safety

Industry Preferred : Chemical / Petrochemical / Oil and Gas / Process plants / Fertilizers /

Roles & Responsibility: 1. Support senior management in complying with all internal and external safety and environmental requirements and in meeting site safety, reliability and efficiency goals abiding by the safety policy of the organization. 2. Train the people in all aspects of Process safety management and SHEQ. 3. Lead/support the Incident Investigation. 4. Meeting Safety goals & KPI as per HSE Annual Plan 5. Support senior management in statutory compliance monitoring for internal & external regulations. 6. Escalate safety related issues/ red flags to the management in time to avoid major accident / incident. 7. Conduct field safety inspections, audits and provide guidance to close gaps. 8. Publish Periodic reports without follow up within target date. 9. Hands on experience in field activities with respect to safety programs (SOS/ JSO/ PSSR/ FSI) etc. 10. Establish procedures for emergency situations, remediation activities, first-aid facilities, relevant protective clothing and other safety equipment. 11. Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality. 12. Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems. 13. Monitoring and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization s products. 14. Regularly visit the locations, work sites, field jobs and identify the hazards, behavioral aspects, air risk behaviors, operation discipline and planning and executing action plans to address that. 15.
