Engineer– IT Infra – Network L3, Thrissur

Main Responsibilities Experiences in working with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls devices. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls Strong understanding on networking and security technologies, protocols. In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF etc.)Experience with network diagnostic, troubleshooting, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools) Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems and solve complex problems. Experience in network switching - VLANs, Trunks, Link AggregationGood understanding of networking - LAN - Wired&Wireless, WAN, DMZ, Internet, VPN&Firewalls Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability. IT service management (ITIL) processes familiarity (e.g., change, service request, problem, incident) Prepare and maintain LLD, steady state configuration document, and other relevant technical documents.Weekly and monthly report preparation and presentation. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication skills General Responsibilities Maintain and update configuration documents. Maintain assets and software license / subscriptions. Vendor co-ordination and supportMaintain SLAs and do timely escalations. Report all incident/service/change requests in helpdesk tool. Provide after hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance Qualification Graduate or above 5+ years of total Experience CCNA Certification Palo Alto (PCNSA /PCNSE) similar(Optional)Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills Proven experience as Network engineer or similar role Paloalto firewall experience.
