Job Purpose

To operate and manage moulding machines used in biometric cable manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to production targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operation Operate injection/over-moulding machines for biometric cable assemblies Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) Monitor machine performance during production Production Work Perform cable moulding for connectors (USB, biometric devices, etc.) Ensure proper positioning of cables and connectors in moulds Maintain production targets as per daily planning Quality Control Inspect moulded cables for: Proper sealing Shape and finish No damage or loose connections Identify defects such as: Short mould Flash formation Burn marks Follow quality standards and rejection procedures Material Handling Handle raw materials such as PVC, rubber, or plastic compounds Ensure correct material usage as per specification Maintain proper storage and traceability Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance Report breakdowns or abnormalities immediately Assist maintenance team during repairs Safety Compliance Follow safety procedures while operating machines Use PPE (gloves, safety shoes, etc.) Maintain clean and hazard-free work area Documentation Maintain production records (hourly/daily output) Record rejection and rework details Update logbooks and shift reports

Skills & RequirementsEducational Qualification ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Production OR relevant experience in moulding field

Experience 1–3 years in cable moulding / injection moulding preferred Freshers can be considered for operator roles

Technical Skills Knowledge of moulding machines Understanding of cable assembly process Basic quality inspection skills
