Continuous Improvement Engineer (Tiruchirappalli)

About the role We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer who will be fully dedicated to driving structured problem-solving processes across our organization. This role is responsible for receiving specific problems as input, forming and leading cross-functional resolution teams, and ensuring timely and effective closure. The ideal candidate will have solid leadership and analytical skills, with experience in Agriculture or Off-Highway Equipment highly preferred. Location : Chennai, India ????Main accountabilities of the role: Problem-Solving Leadership
- Take ownership of assigned problems and lead them to resolution using structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC, A3).
- Form and coordinate cross-functional problem-solving teams, ensuring clear roles and accountability.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implement robust corrective and preventive actions. Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Identify systemic issues and propose process improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Support deployment of Lean and Six Sigma principles across operations.
- Document lessons learned and integrate them into organizational best practices. Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate progress and results to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with customer requirements and internal quality standards. ???? What We’re Looking For Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement or problem-solving roles Experience in Agriculture or Off-Highway Equipment industry is a strong advantage Skills & Expertise:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, 8D
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
