We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in CodeIgniter framework. The candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. This role requires strong backend expertise, database optimization skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter framework. Lead the development of backend solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability. Architect, design, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity and effective data retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and front-end developers to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and other web services. Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and enforcing coding standards and best practices. Mentor and guide junior developers, supporting their technical growth and career development. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and improve database performance. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, and PostgreSQL. Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Requirements Experience as a Senior PHP Developer with strong hands-on experience in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing databases using PostgreSQL. Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and common design patterns. Solid understanding of relational database concepts, SQL query optimization, and PostgreSQL database administration. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
