Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Network Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This remote, full-time internship offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects contributing to our mission of revolutionizing the way the world connects online. As a Network Engineer Intern, you will engage in tasks such as network design & development, and back-end development, gaining hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Solid foundation in Networking and IT concepts and networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model).
Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and command-line tools.
Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and team-oriented platforms like GitHub.
Experience with OpenWRT or other embedded networking platforms.
Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and iptables.
Familiarity with the AAA (Authentication, Authorisation, and Accounting) framework and networking security concepts.
Knowledge of RADIUS server, QoS, and bandwidth management.
