Production Manager (Tumakuru)

Core roles and responsibilities are broken down below: Production Planning & Scheduling
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales data and forecasts to determine required output.
- Scheduling: Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to align with customer demand and inventory levels.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal deployment of labor, machinery, and raw materials to minimize downtime. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Food Safety Standards: Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols, such as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), ISO, or local FDA/FSSAI regulations.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality (taste, texture, packaging integrity) and implement corrective actions if deviations occur.
- Traceability: Maintain precise documentation and traceability systems for all batches. Operations & Cost Management
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to maximize yield.
- Budgeting: Manage the production budget, track expenditures, and drive cost-reduction strategies across product lines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance and emergency repairs of machinery to avoid production interruptions. Team Leadership & Management
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and mentor production line workers and shift supervisors.
- Performance Tracking: Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team, conduct performance reviews, and implement development plans.
- Safety Culture: Promote a safe working environment by establishing safety programs and ensuring OSHA/local safety compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Supply Chain: Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw ingredients and packaging materials.
- New Product Development (NPD): Work closely with R&D; teams to successfully scale up new recipes for mass production.
- Logistics: Align with warehousing and distribution teams to ensure finished goods are dispatched on schedule. Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹35,000.00
