Assistant Restaurant Manager (Ooty)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant You will assist the Restaurant Manager in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction smooth service efficient staff management and adherence to health and safety standards Key Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all front-of-house and back-of-house operations Supervise staff and ensure proper shift coverage and task delegation Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally Assist in hiring training and mentoring recent team members Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for ordering food beverages and other supplies Ensure compliance with sanitation safety and licensing regulations Help manage budgets labor costs and daily cash handling Oversee opening and closing procedures including daily checklists Maintain high standards of food quality presentation and cleanliness Assist in planning and executing promotions special events and marketing strategies Generate reports and provide feedback to senior management as needed Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a restaurant or hospitality setting Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Working knowledge of restaurant management software POS systems inventory tools etc is a plus Food safety certification is an advantage Preferred Qualifications Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field 2 years of experience in a similar role Key Competencies Customer Focus Team Leadership Attention to Detail Multitasking Communication Skills Conflict Resolution Time Management Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00
