Role: Executive (Legal Strategy and Partnerships), Udaipur Experience: 5-7 Years Salary: Up to 7.2-9 LPA _______________________________________________ About the role: We are seeking an energetic and experienced professional to serve as the Executive (Legal Strategy and Partnerships) based in Udaipur. The core mission of this role is to expand the organizations footprint across Western India through strategic collaborations. This is a key leadership position for individuals with a long-term commitment to people-oriented work, focusing on expanding workers' access to justice. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Enhance the legal cells reach by cultivating strategic partnerships with workers organizations, the legal fraternity, Legal Services Authorities, employers, and law schools.
- Program Expansion: Identify and initiate recent opportunities for legal aid provision, particularly in areas with high labor density.
- New Initiatives: Conceptualize and launch new programs within the legal landscape, such as lawyer fellowships, training programs for para-legal workers, and collaboration with labor governance systems.
- Advocacy & Knowledge Building: Advance opportunities for research, writing, and publishing to improve awareness and knowledge surrounding justice issues for informal workers.
- Representation: Act as a key representative, demanding high flair for meeting people and building strong connections across all stakeholder spectrums. Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A strong Law Degree (LLB/LLM) from a reputable college/university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5- 7 years of work experience in legal aid, labor law, human rights, or rights-based work.
- Interests: An abiding interest in bringing change to the lives of vulnerable communities, coupled with a core interest in research, writing, advocacy, and policy pursuit.
- Language: Must have bilingual proficiency in English and Hindi.
- Mobility: Requires regular outstation travel.
- Regional Advantage: Familiarity with the legal institutions and environment in Rajasthan and Gujarat is a significant advantage.
