Description
About Valorant Valorant is a procurement consulting and AI technology firm. We combine deep domain expertise in sourcing and procurement with Astra — our AI-native procurement platform. We work with CPOs, CFOs, and CIOs at organizations across industries to drive measurable efficiency, cost savings, and procurement transformation. Our team operates at the intersection of strategy consulting and product building, and every member contributes to both. Role Description At Valorant, Senior Consultants operate across three dimensions — product, implementation, and advisory — with procurement domain expertise as the connective thread. You will translate real-world procurement knowledge into product intelligence for Astra, work alongside Engineering to shape features and workflows, and lead delivery workstreams when clients go live. You’ll also continue to do what great procurement consultants do: run sourcing events, build negotiation strategies, analyze spend, and drive transformation — now with Astra as your delivery accelerant. Product & Platform (Astra)
- Translate procurement processes, edge cases, and domain logic into product requirements and feature specifications for Astra
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on roadmap prioritization, feature validation, and UAT for new capabilities
- Develop and maintain procurement content within the platform — category playbooks, workflow configurations, approval logic, and decision frameworks
- Serve as the “voice of the practitioner” in product decisions, ensuring Astra solves real procurement problems Implementation & Transformation Delivery
- Lead Astra implementation workstreams for new clients — platform configuration, workflow design, data migration support, and go-live readiness
- Run procurement transformation engagements: current-state assessments, operating model design, process re-engineering, and policy development
- Drive change management across implementations — stakeholder alignment, communication planning, adoption tracking, and resistance management to ensure sustainable outcomes beyond go-live
- Build and deliver client training programs for Astra adoption and procurement process changes
- Manage client stakeholder relationships throughout implementation, ensuring alignment between project objectives and business outcomes Advisory & Strategic Sourcing
- Conduct spend analysis, market research, and opportunity assessments to identify savings and efficiency levers
- Develop sourcing strategies, draft and manage RFPs, and support bid evaluation and supplier selection
- Build financial models (TCO, should-cost) and negotiation strategy presentations for key decision-makers
- Review contracts for alignment with negotiated terms and coordinate legal redlines as needed Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement consulting, procurement operations, or procurement technology — ideally a mix
- Robust understanding of Source-to-Contract and/or Procure-to-Pay processes
- Comfort working with technology and product teams — you don’t need to write production code, but you should be able to think in systems and workflows, and ideally have the curiosity to prototype ideas using AI tools (prompting, no-code platforms, or lightweight scripting)
- Analytical rigor: ability to work with large spend datasets, build models, and translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills — written deliverables, stakeholder presentations, and cross-functional collaboration
- Startup mindset: ownership-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, willing to operate across boundaries
- Familiarity with procurement technology platforms (Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, or similar) is a strong plus
- Willingness to work across global time zones as client engagements require Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4nb7l1
