Assembly Fitter, Ulhasnagar

Key Responsibilities Assemble electric motors and gearboxes as per drawings and work instructions Fit and align shafts, bearings, gears, housings, and couplings Perform motor winding assembly, rotor–stator fitting, and end-shield assembly Assemble gearboxes including gear trains, seals, and lubrication systemsEnsure proper tolerances, alignment, and torque specifications Conduct functional checks, run tests, and noise/vibration inspections Required Qualifications Proven experience in motor assembly or gearbox assembly Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting, alignment, and tolerancesExperience with bearings, gears, shafts, and seals Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Preferred Qualifications ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or related trade Experience in industrial motors, gear motors, or transmission systems Knowledge of electrical basics related to motor assemblyExposure to quality systems (ISO, 5S, TPM)
