- Full time At MKEMA Partners ( Switzerland), we recruit top-tier tech talent on behalf of our international clients in Fintech, Equine, and AI — across Europe and the United States. We are currently looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join one of our client's engineering teams in Vadodara and own the quality of their web and mobile platforms end-to-end — while collaborating daily with international stakeholders. What you'll do
- Design and build automation frameworks from scratch for web (Selenium / Playwright) and mobile (Appium — iOS & Android)- Define the test strategy across functional, regression, integration, and API layers
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback
- Investigate flaky tests, improve stability, and continuously reduce execution time
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality best practices across squads
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps in fast-paced Agile/Scrum cycles What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years at a senior level
- Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium and/or Playwright
- Solid experience with Appium for native and hybrid mobile testing (iOS & Android)- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language: JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch — not just using existing ones
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams with short release cycles
- Solid experience with version control — Git, branching strategies, code reviews
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar)- Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), Docker, and cloud test platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and design patterns (Page Object Model, etc.)- Excellent English communication — you'll work daily with European and US teams Nice to have
- Experience in Fintech, AI, or Equine tech environments
- Performance testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling)- BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)- ISTQB certification What our client offers
