Project Proposal Engineer (Vadodara)

Company Description We RNR Machines manufacture some of the largest Compressed Air Dryers in India. Our products are used in companies like RIL, JSW, Tata Steel etc. This is a very technical product and is supplied to various industries from Semiconductors, Steel, Textile , Glass etc. Engineers working in our firm are exposed to a outstanding amount of knowledge. Simultaneously, they are expected to be detail oriented due to the technical nature of the position. We have our factories in Makarpura and Karjan. As our product line involves critical equipment which operates at high pressure and high volume we require good engineers for project and client interaction. We are interested in hiring an engineer for machine /project proposal engineer/ tendering engineer:
- This is a very techno-commercial position that does not require any travel.
- Engineer is responsible for understanding clients needs
- Each machine is unique. Engineer must understand the capabilitiy of each machine and its scope of supply, normal operating paratmeters and material of construction.
- Subsequently, techno commercial offer has to be generated. All technical datasheets as requested by clients must be provided.
- Engineer must co-ordinate with necessary departments for organizing: General Assembly Drawings, Cost Estimations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams etc.
- They will also be responsbile for re-verifying all the above documents to ensure they are technically in line with client requirements.
- Commercially, this position involves understanding basic tax, billing and transportation. The person has to co-ordinate with Accounts to ensure proper invoicing.
- If the candidate is proven to be strong, they will be given additionally reponsibilities such as negotiating with clients etc.
- Training will be provided for this position.
