Job Summary A Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness standards, maintaining guest room quality, and supporting smooth hotel operations. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, hygiene, and effective housekeeping management. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping attendants and cleaning staff
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and public areas
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
- Assign daily cleaning duties and work schedules
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and inventory
- Report maintenance issues to engineering department
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety
- Ensure timely room cleaning before guest check-in
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping
