Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically solid Equity Analyst (Freelancer) to support our research and data operations. This role involves analyzing financial data, evaluating companies, and generating insights that contribute to high-quality datasets and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of companies across sectors
- Analyze financial statements, annual reports, and market trends
- Build financial models and valuation frameworks (DCF, comparables, etc.)
- Interpret and structure financial data for research and AI-driven use cases
- Track industry developments, earnings reports, and macroeconomic indicators
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial datasets

Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or related roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Good to Have:
- Exposure to global markets (US/India equities)
- Familiarity with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.)
- Basic understanding of data structuring or working with large datasets
