Description: The Payments Technical Lead is responsible for analyzing, designing, and governing technical changes across all payment applications that are impacted due to the Oracle Banking Payments (OBP) and Core Banking upgrade program payments platforms. The role works closely with application owners, program leads, and architecture teams to understand the end to end impact and quantum of change across country specific payment rails, gateways, integrations, and downstream payment systems, ensuring all impacted payment applications remain compliant, stable, and aligned across UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and India.10 years of experience in payments domain. 1. Payment Application Impact Analysis&Design;• Own the technical impact analysis and design for all payment applications impacted by OBP and Core Banking upgrades.
• Prepare and maintain HLDs and LLDs for impacted payment systems, integrations, and country specific payment rails.
• Translate upgrade driven changes into transparent technicaldesigns, impact notes, and implementation guidance.2. Cross Application&Stakeholder; Coordination 3. Country Specific Payment Rail Impact Handling• Analyze and design changes across country specific payment rails and clearing systems (e.g., UAEFTS, WPS, ICCS, KNPS, QATCH, RTGS, ACH) resulting from OBP and Core Banking upgrades.
• Ensure impacted payment applications comply with local scheme rules, message formats, settlement logic, and regulatory requirements.4. Integration&Downstream; System Alignment• Design and review changes across integrations between: o Payment applications o OBP and Core Banking o Channels and digital platforms o Gateways and reconciliation systems (Payment Tracker, Sherlock, Bravos, TLM)
