Lead and govern the General Ledger & Financial Accounting (GL & FA. / Record to Report (R2R. Tower, ensuring accurate books of accounts, timely financial close, robust controls, and compliant financial reporting while driving standardization and continuous improvement.

GL & FA R2R Team Lead

Job Description The GL & FA / R2R Team Lead is responsible for end-to-end ownership of general ledger and record-to-report operations, including period close, journal accounting, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting. The role ensures governance, audit compliance, SLA adherence, stakeholder alignment, and transformation of GL & R2R processes through best-in-class practices and automation.

Principal Accountabilities Lead the operations of the GL FA R2R tower encompassing General Ledger Journals Financial Close Reconciliations and Reportingbr Own and manage the monthend quarterend and yearend close calendars to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingbr Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the books of accounts maintaining high standards of financial data qualitybr Drive the preparation and delivery of statutory management and regulatory reporting ensuring compliance with all relevant standardsbr Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements SLAs Key Performance Indicators KPIs and financial controls to optimize performancebr Lead and coordinate internal and external audits ensuring all financial practices meet regulatory and compliance requirementsbr Champion process standardization and automation initiatives leveraging ERP systems BlackLine and Robotic Process Automation RPA to enhance efficiencybr Manage stakeholder relationships with Business Finance Tax Audit and IT departments to ensure alignment and collaborationbr Provide people leadership and capability building fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team
