Software Engineer (Vapi)

We're hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the TrueGreen engineering team. You'll take end-to-end ownership of a service from architecture through deployment and ongoing operations — on a platform that runs around the clock in real energy markets.

What you'll do
- Own a service end-to-end — design, build, deploy, monitor, and operate it
- Build robust back-end APIs and services in Node.js
- Develop clean, responsive UIs in React that handle real-time data streams
- Design data models across MongoDB and time-series databases
- Use Redis for caching, pub/sub, and performance optimisation
- Containerise and deploy with Docker on Linux
- Collaborate on architecture, code reviews, and technical direction

What we're looking for
- 3+ years of professional Node.js experience in production
- Solid React skills
- hooks, context, and complex data-driven UIs
- Strong CSS responsive design, CSS Modules / Tailwind / Prime React
- Production experience with MongoDB and Redis
- Solid understanding of distributed systems: queues, eventual consistency, service coordination

Required domain knowledge OCPP CPO Platform — OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1, OCPI 2.0, CPO, eMSP back-ends, CSMS development, smart charging, or dynamic load management
