Warehouse Operations Executive / Warehouse In-Charge (Vapi)

Company Overview MomToBe is one of India's leading maternity apparel brands, serving mothers across the country through marketplaces such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa, and other e-commerce platforms. As part of our expansion, we are establishing a new warehouse facility in Vapi and are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operations Executive to lead day-to-day warehouse operations. Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Operations Executive to manage the complete functioning of our Vapi warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess strong computer skills, warehouse management experience, inventory handling knowledge, and a thorough understanding of e-commerce operations. The role requires a hands-on individual who can efficiently manage inventory, order processing, dispatch operations, returns management, warehouse staff, and overall operational coordination with the E-commerce Team. Key Responsibilities 1. Order Processing & Dispatch Operations
- Process daily marketplace orders through OMS software.
- Generate picklists, invoices, shipping labels, and dispatch documents.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely picking and packing.
- Ensure all orders are dispatched within marketplace SLA timelines.
- Monitor daily order volumes and prioritize urgent shipments. 2. Shipment Packing & Marketplace Compliance
- Ensure shipments are packed as per Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa, and B2B requirements.
- Verify SKU labels, product tags, and order accuracy before dispatch.
- Prevent wrong shipments through proper verification procedures.
- Coordinate shipment pickups and dispatch schedules with the E-commerce Team. 3. Inventory Management & Inward Operations
- Manage inventory inward from production vendors and factories.
- Physically verify quantities before inwarding stock.
- Update inventory accurately in OMS systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Report inventory discrepancies immediately. 4. Warehouse Storage & Space Planning
- Plan and allocate storage locations efficiently.
- Optimize rack utilization and warehouse space.
- Coordinate with the E-commerce Team regarding upcoming inventory arrivals.
- Ensure products are stored systematically for faster picking and dispatch. 5. Returns Management
- Process marketplace returns accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect returned products for resale eligibility.
- Segregate damaged, defective, and claimable returns.
- Report wrong returns and discrepancies for claim processing.
- Ensure returned products are restored and re-stocked promptly. 6. Label & Tag Management
- Generate and print SKU labels, barcode labels, and shipping labels.
- Prepare and dispatch tags, labels, and packaging materials required by production factories.
- Ensure timely availability of all operational labels and tags. 7. Loading & Unloading Operations
- Assist in inventory loading and unloading activities whenever required.
- Coordinate inward and outward movement of goods.
- Ensure proper handling of products during transportation and storage. 8. Team Management & Coordination
- Allocate daily tasks to warehouse staff.
- Monitor productivity and work quality.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the E-commerce Team for smooth operations. 9. Operational Flexibility
- Be willing to extend support during peak sales periods, delayed pickups, urgent dispatches, or backlog clearances.
- Take ownership of warehouse operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Desired Candidate Profile Essential Skills
- Good computer knowledge (Excel, email, inventory software, OMS systems).
- Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to handle e-commerce order processing and dispatches.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa, or other e-commerce operations.
- Experience with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
- Local candidate from Vapi or nearby areas preferred. Working Hours
- 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
