Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Purchase / Procurement Manager to join our growing team at our Vasai office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle, vendor development, strategic sourcing, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support business operations. The candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and a solid understanding of electronic components and supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities for electronic components and related materials. Handle Purchase Orders (POs), Purchase Requisitions (PRs), RFQs, and supplier coordination. Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Source new vendors and evaluate supplier performance based on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and reliability. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements with vendors. Coordinate closely with sales, inventory, warehouse, and accounts teams to ensure smooth material planning and availability. Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock planning to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Ensure timely procurement aligned with customer delivery commitments and operational requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting. Track market trends, component shortages, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks within the electronics industry. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and operational procedures. Support import procurement activities and coordinate with logistics/forwarding partners when required. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 7 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management. Prior experience in the Electronic Components / Semiconductor industry is highly preferred. Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory planning. Knowledge of electronic components, BOM handling, lead times, and sourcing channels will be a robust advantage. Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement/inventory management software. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Educational background in Electronics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or related fields preferred.
