Job Title: Senior Engineer MFT Axway Administration & Development

Location: Remote

Work Hours: 3 PM 12 AM IST

Compensation: Up to 27 LPA

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless Managed File Transfer (MFT) operations within the Axway platform while maintaining platform security, reliability, and automation. Your key responsibilities include:

• File Transfer Configuration: Set up, configure, and optimize file transfer processes for customers using the Axway Managed File Transfer platform(link removed)>
• Platform Maintenance: Take ownership of platform maintenance, including OS and application patching and operational automation(link removed)>
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve file transfer issues and platform-related concerns(link removed)>
• Vendor Coordination: Analyze and report platform issues to the respective product vendor(link removed)>
• On-call Support: Provide regular technical support on US/Pacific weekday and weekend shifts(link removed)>
• Automation & Optimization: Develop automation solutions to improve security, reliability, maintainability, and performance of the MFT platform.
• Self-Service Enablement: Build self-service capabilities for customers to enhance efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong expertise in Axway Secure Transport product.
• Proficiency in AWS technologies including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, AWS RDS, EC2 Oracle(link removed)>
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for AWS resource management.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and RunDeck.
• Advanced Shell/Python scripting skills with proficiency in REST/JSON APIs(link removed)>
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Strong Linux and database administration knowledge.
• Excellent debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Strong communication skills to engage vendors and customers professionally.

Preferred skills and experience include:

• Experience working in collaborative, multi-discipline development teams(link removed)>
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, ideally SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)(link removed)>
• Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools(link removed)>
• Basic understanding of batch scheduling tools like Autosys(link removed)>
