Role Description We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Tech Lead / Solution Architect to lead the development of a greenfield Payment Aggregator / Payments Gateway platform for the Indian market. This role requires strong expertise in Node.js, AWS cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and payment platforms. The ideal candidate will drive architecture decisions, establish AWS infrastructure foundations, mentor engineering teams, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and operationally resilient systems. This is a senior technical leadership role suited for professionals passionate about building high-integrity transaction systems and leading engineering excellence. - 8+ years overall software engineering experience
- 3+ years in Tech Lead / Solution Architect roles
- Strong hands-on Node.js and AWS experience Location INDIA (DELHI / NCR) Employment Type Full time Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Solution Design
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical design
- Define scalable microservices architecture and API standards
- Ensure compliance with key non-functional requirements: Payments Platform Leadership
- Provide technical leadership across payment gateway and payment aggregator systems
- Drive implementation of:
- UPI integrations
- Settlement & reconciliation flows
- Refunds & chargebacks
- Payment routing AWS Cloud Foundation
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure and deployment architecture
- Work extensively with:
- ECS Fargate
- Lambda
- SQS FIFO + DLQ
- Aurora PostgreSQL
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices Engineering Leadership
- Lead backend and frontend engineering teams
- Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews
- Define engineering standards and quality gates
- Mentor developers and drive engineering best practices

Technical Skills RequiredCore Skills
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise
- Experience with scalable backend systems and REST APIs
- Microservices and event-driven architecture experience
- PostgreSQL / relational database expertise
- CI/CD and DevOps experience
- AWS cloud-native architecture experience
