Accountant (Sanpada)

Job Title: Hospital Accountant Location: Recent Millennium Multispeciality Hospital, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai – 400705 Job Summary: The Hospital Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations of the hospital, ensuring accurate billing, revenue tracking, statutory compliance, and maintaining financial records in accordance with healthcare and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Monitor patient billing, TPA/insurance billing, and receivables
- Handle cash, bank transactions, and daily collections reconciliation
- Ensure proper accounting of IPD, OPD, pharmacy, and diagnostic revenues
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and MIS
- Coordinate with departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue capture
- Manage vendor payments, purchase entries, and expense tracking
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Maintain proper documentation and support for all financial transactions
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for credit control and recovery
