Equity Research Analyst – Swing, Long-Term & Multibagger Research Location:
- Chennai
- Thiruvanmiyur | Type: Full-Time, In-Office Only Salary
- ₹50,000 – ₹75,000/month | Reports To: Chief Trader / Principal Trader Experience
- 3-5 years Role Summary We’re hiring a research-driven Equity Research Analyst to support our private trading desk with deep fundamental analysis, sector tracking, and high-conviction investment ideas. Focus: quality compounders, small/midcap growth stories, and multibagger research. No tips or speculation — only data-backed, thesis-driven work. Key Responsibilities Fundamental Research: Analyze listed Indian companies via annual reports, concalls, financials. Prepare structured notes covering business, financials, growth triggers, risks, and valuation. Investment Ideas: Identify long-term compounders, high ROE/ROCE, low-debt, strong moat businesses. Research small/midcap, turnaround, and capacity expansion themes for multibagger potential. Swing/Positional Calls: Generate short/medium-term ideas based on results, earnings upgrades, sector tailwinds, and re-rating triggers. Sector & Results Tracking: Maintain watchlists across Metals, Power, Defence, Pharma, IT, Banking, etc. Deliver quick quarterly result summaries with management commentary and valuation impact. Must-Have Skills Strong financial statement analysis, valuation basics, Excel/Google Sheets, clear research writing. Ability to spot red flags and compare peers. Deep understanding of Indian markets. Preferred CFA L1/L2, CA/CA Inter, MBA Finance. 3–5 years in equity research. Exceptional freshers with sample work considered. Tools:
- Screener, Trendlyne, Tijori, NSE/BSE, TradingView, Excel. Ideal Profile Analytical, disciplined, curious thinker.
