Position: Design Head– Home Textiles (Bedding&Home Furnishings) Designation: Senior Manager / Manager Function: Design&Product Development Reports To: Managing Director Qualifications&Experience: * Bachelor's / Master's degree in **Textile Design, Textile Technology, or Fashion&Apparel Design. 10–15 years of experience in ' home textiles' , with '5+ years' in a design leadership role. * Strong command of ' woven design techniques' (dobby, jacquard, yarn development, and finishing). * Proven track record with ' international buyers and Indian retail/D2C collections.'Proficiency in ' Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and textile CAD software. ' * Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. About the Role: We are seeking an exceptional 'Design Head– Home Textiles' to lead creative and product innovation across ' bedding, cushions, quilts, and home furnishings' for both ' global export and Indian domestic markets '.This role calls for a visionary design leader who can blend ' aesthetic excellence, technical mastery, and commercial intelligence'—someone who can transform global trends into products that resonate with diverse markets and drive the brand's design identity forward. Key Responsibilities: ' Creative Leadership&Trend Direction ' * Define the 'seasonal design strategy' and creative direction for export and domestic collections. * Curate trend-forward ' mood boards, color stories, and design narratives' inspired by global and Indian sensibilities. * Translate global forecasts into compelling, production-ready collections tailored to premium international and D2C markets.'Product Development&Innovation' * Lead the full design cycle—from concept and fabric development to sampling and final product realization. * Develop ' innovative weaves, textures, prints, embroideries, and finishes' that reflect market demand and design innovation. * Partner with suppliers to create sustainable, cost-efficient materials and finishes.* Balance creative ambition with manufacturability and commercial viability. 'Technical Excellence' * Oversee and guide design teams on ' yarn counts, weave structures, GSM, and finishing processes' . * Collaborate closely with weaving, dyeing, processing, and stitching units to ensure precision and quality consistency.* Evaluate prototypes for ' technical accuracy, design integrity, and aesthetic appea l.'
