– Video Editor (Podcast & Social Media Content)Position Experience Required
- Minimum 6 Months of Relevant Experience About the Role We are looking for a passionate and creative Video Editor who can transform raw podcast footage into engaging and high-quality content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in editing podcast videos, creating short-form content, and understanding current social media trends. The role requires strong storytelling skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver polished videos within deadlines. Candidates who are enthusiastic about podcasts, digital media, and content creation will be preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesPodcast Editing
- Edit long-form podcast videos for platforms such as YouTube, Spotify Video Podcasts, and other digital channels
- Remove unnecessary pauses, background noise, and editing errors to ensure smooth content flow
- Sync audio and video professionally for high-quality output
- Add intros, outros, transitions, overlays, lower thirds, and captions where required Short-Form Content Creation
- Create engaging reels, shorts, and highlight clips from podcast episodes
- Develop attention-grabbing edits optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
- Add trendy cuts, motion graphics, zoom effects, subtitles, and sound effects to improve engagement Creative & Branding Responsibilities
- Maintain consistency in video style, branding, colors, fonts, and overall visual identity
- Collaborate with the marketing/content team to understand campaign requirements
- Suggest creative ideas, storytelling techniques, and editing improvements for better audience retention
- Create visually appealing thumbnails and promotional snippets when required Technical Responsibilities
- Organize raw footage, project files, assets, and final exports systematically
- Export videos in platform-specific resolutions and formats
- Ensure high-quality audio enhancement and basic color correction
- Stay updated with current editing trends, podcast styles, and social media algorithms Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in video editing
- Proficiency in editing tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- CapCut
- DaVinci Resolve (optional)
- Photoshop/Canva (basic knowledge preferred)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, and visual composition
- Knowledge of social media content trends and audience engagement techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management Preferred Skills
- Experience in podcast editing or interview-based content
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation
- Understanding of YouTube retention editing techniques
