About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to own the architecture, development, and quality of our web applications. You’ll be responsible for building fast, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces while setting frontend standards and mentoring other engineers. This role is hands-on and strategic — you’ll write production code, make technical decisions, and work closely with product, design, and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
- Own the frontend architecture and technical roadmap
- Define and enforce coding standards, performance, and best practices
- Lead code reviews and mentor frontend engineers
- Make decisions on frameworks, libraries, and tooling

Development
- Build and maintain high-quality web applications
- Translate designs and product requirements into clean, performant UI
- Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser experiences
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability

Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Product managers to shape requirements and delivery
- Designers to ensure pixel-perfect UI and great UX
- Backend engineers on APIs, data contracts, and performance
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions

Quality & Delivery
- Ensure frontend code is:
- Testable
- Maintainable
- Well-documented
- Own frontend release processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor performance, bugs, and user feedback

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have
- 5+ years of frontend development experience
- Robust expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Extensive experience with React.js (or similar modern frameworks)
- Solid understanding of:
- HTML5, CSS3, modern layout systems
- State management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, etc.)
