WordPress & Server Support Executive (Chennai)

Position: WordPress & Server Support Executive Salary: 5 LPA – 7 LPA Role Overview We are looking for a WordPress & Server Support Executive responsible for maintaining and monitoring client websites and servers. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage WordPress updates, plugin compatibility, PHP version upgrades, and overall website and server performance based on client requirements. The ideal candidate should have basic PHP knowledge, robust understanding of WordPress environments, server handling skills, and good communication abilities to coordinate with internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are updated and functioning smoothly. Perform WordPress core updates, plugin updates, and theme updates while ensuring compatibility. Check and update PHP versions on servers based on website and plugin requirements. Monitor server performance, website uptime, and loading speed to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot WordPress errors, plugin conflicts, and PHP compatibility issues. Manage website backups, security updates, and server maintenance tasks. Coordinate with the development team when advanced technical fixes are required. Handle website migrations, domain configuration, and SSL installations when needed. Monitor hosting environments such as cPanel, WHM, or Linux servers. Maintain documentation of updates, changes, and server configurations. Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients regarding technical updates and issues. Required Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in WordPress website management and server support. Good knowledge of WordPress updates, plugins, themes, and troubleshooting. Basic understanding of PHP and compatibility with WordPress environments. Experience with cPanel, WHM, or Linux-based hosting servers. Understanding website performance optimization and server monitoring. Knowledge of website backups, SSL certificates, and domain management. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients. Preferred Skills Experience in WordPress security and malware cleanup.
