- Write, edit, and publish high-quality digital content, including news features, explainers, and trending stories
- Translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and reader-friendly formats
- Create compelling headlines, intros, and story structures optimised for digital consumption
- Ensure content is accurate, well-researched, and aligned with editorial standards
- Track trending topics and produce timely, relevant content
- Optimise stories using SEO best practices and audience engagement strategies
- Collaborate with reporters, editors, and design teams for effective content presentation
- Adapt content for social media and other digital platforms Desired Profile:
- 3–4 years of experience in content writing, preferably with a news media organisation
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong research, writing, and storytelling skills
- Understanding of digital publishing, SEO, and content trends
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom
- Familiarity with CMS tools and analytics platforms is an advantage
- Prior experience in news, current affairs, or editorial content is preferred Experience: 3-4 years of experience in the Newspapers or Television industries Qualification: The candidate should have a Master's in Journalism / Mass Communication / English Literature / Political Science with Strong English-language skills.
