As a Lead Engineer-Database at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL databases Monitor database performance and ensure optimal efficiency Perform database tuning (queries, indexes, execution plans) Manage backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss Ensure high availability using clustering, replication, and failover mechanisms Handle database upgrades, patches, and migrations Troubleshoot database issues and resolve incidents promptly Manage user access, roles, and database security Support application teams with database-related queries and deployments Maintain database documentation and standards
