Software Distribution & Patch Management (Chennai)

Manage enterprise software distribution and patch management across Windows and macOS endpoints using SCCM (MECM), Microsoft Intune, and Jamf Pro.

Package, test, and deploy applications, updates, and security patches in alignment with organizational standards and release calendars. Plan, schedule, and execute OS, application, and third‑party patch cycles, including critical, monthly, and emergency updates.

Monitor deployment success, patch compliance, and vulnerability remediation through dashboards and compliance reports.

Troubleshoot and resolve software installation failures, patching issues, rollbacks, and deployment conflicts with minimal business impact.

Coordinate patching and release activities with Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Change Management teams to ensure controlled deployments. Ensure adherence to ITIL, security, and risk management processes, including change approvals, pre‑patch and post‑patch validation.

Maintain patch exceptions, risk documentation, and mitigation plans for non‑compliant or EOL software.

Create and maintain deployment SOPs, release notes, and operational documentation for consistent EUC operations.
