Python Test Lead - Banking /Capital Markets (Chennai)

Project description We need a Python Test Lead to work for a leading investment bank in Trade Surveillance Project Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and microservices. Build robust, reusable, and effective backend components and RESTful APIs. Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP). Develop and implement automation scripts using Python to improve system efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance. Provide technical support and training to junior team members. Skills Must have 9+ years of experience in data driven testing in Python Mandatory experience in Banking /Capital Market Projects and Trade Life Cycle Must have strong experience in any one of below (mandatory): Equities and Fix Income/Commodities / FX Options Good experience in leading team Good experience on PyTest and Test Automation Good experience in Selenium Strong understanding of web application testing and associated technologies. Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases per requirements and design Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
