Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of qualified experience working as a CAD administrator or similar role.
Hands-on expertise with the Autodesk software suite, including, but not limited to, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, Navisworks, Revit, Robot, and Vault.
Experience working with and/or administering other CAD platforms (i.e. Bentley, PTC, and/or SOLIDWORKS) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems effectively and efficiently.
Robust initiative and self-directed attitude with minimal supervision.
Ability and willingness to engage with global teams and stakeholders.
Experience developing extensibilities for Autodesk products, with preference for Plant 3D, Inventor, and/or Vault is a plus.
Experience developing and supporting parametric models using iLogic and/or third-party configurators (i.e. Tacton) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily support to end-users for all CAD software across the enterprise.
Plan and support Autodesk implementations and upgrades, including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
Lead development and standardization of CAD processes across the enterprise.
Develop, document, and enforce CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams.
Work closely with engineering, design, and IT teams to optimize CAD workflows, improve collaboration, and support project delivery.
Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to promote self-sufficiency and knowledge sharing among users.
Support integration efforts between CAD software and other enterprise systems (i.e. Costpoint ERP, document management systems, etc.).
Interpersonal Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills, oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with business users.
