Some teachers help students learn mathematics. Others help students enjoy thinking. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquiry-driven PYP Math Teacher who believes that mathematics is not just a subject, but as a language for thinking, questioning, and understanding the world. At our school, learning is hands-on, concept-driven, and deeply connected to real life. We are seeking an educator who can transform mathematical thinking into meaningful experiences that inspire confidence, creativity, and curiosity in young learners.What You’ll Do • Create engaging and inquiry-based mathematics learning experiences aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme philosophy. • Inspire students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and develop a lifelong love for learning. • Bring mathematics to life through real-world connections, storytelling, technology, collaboration, and exploration.• Foster a classroom culture where student voice, choice, and agency are celebrated. • Differentiate learning experiences to support every learner’s strengths, needs, and interests. • Assess and document student growth through reflective and meaningful assessment practices. • Collaborate closely with homeroom and specialist teachers to build rich transdisciplinary learning experiences.• Partner with parents and colleagues to nurture the academic, emotional, and social development of every child. • Contribute actively to a vibrant learning community through school events, professional learning, and collaborative planning. Who You Are • A passionate educator with experience in IB PYP or inquiry-based learning environments.• Someone who sees mathematics as a tool for exploration, creativity, and deeper understanding. • A collaborative team player with strong communication and classroom management skills. • A reflective practitioner with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning. • Bachelor’sdegree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.• IB PYP certification/training preferred.
