With a presence in San Francisco and Hyderabad, we are a fast-growing, mission-driven team focused on building AI for Good and creating meaningful impact.Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Java Developer (Freelancer) to build and maintain scalable backend systems and applications. This role involves working on robust, high-performance solutions that support our AI-driven platforms and data operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and servicesWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance Ensure code quality through testing and best practices Required Qualifications:2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development Strong understanding of core Java, OOP concepts, and data structures Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend development Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment Good to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines Understanding of system design and scalable architectures Exposure to AI/ML-based systems or data platformsWhy Join Us Competitive pay (₹1200/hour) Flexible working hours Fully remote opportunity Opportunity to work on high-impact AI-driven products and systems
