Azure Systems Administrator, Chennai

Position Summary The Azure/AD Systems Administrator provides technical leadership and hands-on support for complex Active Directory (on-premises) and Azure identity environments. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of enterprise-level directory services across hybrid infrastructures. The administrator will support high-availability environments and ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of identity and access management systems.Key Responsibilities· Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory (on-prem) and Azure AD environments · Manage Group Policies (on-prem and Azure), including design, troubleshooting, and optimization · Administer user, group, and identity lifecycle management · Configure and support Azure Enterprise Applications· Implement and manage Conditional Access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) · Support password and identity technologies, including modern authentication methods · Manage AD Sites and Services, domain trusts, replication, and topology · Perform Active Directory backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning· Support and troubleshoot Azure AD Connect / hybrid identity environments · Provide technical support for dependent services such as: o DNS, DHCP o File and Print services o Email systems and identity integration o Storage and hosting access controls · Utilize and maintain network and system monitoring tools· Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices · Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis · Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams Required Skills&Technical Expertise Strong hands-on experience with: Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID Expertise in: Group Policy Objects (GPOs) AD Trusts and Forest architecture Identity and Access Management (IAM) Experience with: Azure Conditional AccessMFA and authentication protocols Azure Enterprise Applications Deep understanding of: DNS, DHCP AD replication and topology Windows Server environments Familiarity with: Backup and disaster recovery tools Network monitoring and management systems High-availability enterprise environments Knowledge of emerging cloud and identity technologiesExperience Required· 6–7 years of progressive, hands-on experience in: o Planning, designing, installing, and maintaining enterprise systems infrastructure o Supporting centralized IT operations in a high-availability environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting hybrid cloud environmentsStrong troubleshooting and documentation skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical systems Strong communication and coordination skills Note: Looking for Immediate joiners Interested candidate Contact: Arunkumar(9566399659) HR Manager
