Job Title: NOC SME (L1/L2) – Network Operations Experience: 4–6 years Location:Chennai
Job Overview:
We are looking for a NOC SME (L1/L2) to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues across enterprise environments. You will ensure high network availability, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to maintain smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, Firewall, and Internet connectivity using NMS tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 network incidents; escalate complex issues to L3 teams.
- Manage incident tickets end-to-end, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Support major outages and post-incident reviews.
- Guide and mentor junior NOC engineers.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Coordinate with carriers, ISPs, and vendors for network issues. Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, VLANs, STP.
- Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF troubleshooting level).
- WAN technologies: MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN.
