Software Engineer- Salesforce Developer (Chennai)

We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match localexpertisewith strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and protected as possible. Who you are: You are an experienced Salesforce developer with strong hands-onexpertisein custom development andintegrations. You are comfortable working across the full development lifecycle and bringing soundengineering practices to every piece of work you deliver. What you will be doing:
- Develop and customise Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC),Aura, Visualforce, and Flows
- Implement declarative solutions such as Flows, validation rules, and process automation whereappropriate
- Build andmaintainintegrations using REST and SOAP APIs and middleware tools
- Create andmaintainSalesforce data models, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, andsecurity settings
- Write unit tests and ensure adequate code coverage to support deployments
- Support application deployments using Change Sets, Salesforce CLI, and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, quality teams, and business stakeholders throughout theSDLC
- Prepare andmaintaintechnical documentation and support handovers Requiredexperience andskills:
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong experience with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Good understanding of the Salesforce security model, including profiles, permissionsets, andsharing rules
- Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and data migration tools
- Solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits and development best practices Preferred Certifications
