Outbound Supervisor (Budihal)

Job Title: Outbound Supervisor Job Location: Narsapura, Bengaluru Job Summary At A.P. Moller – Maersk, we are transforming global logistics through integrated supply chain solutions. We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to manage outbound operations within our contract logistics setup, ensuring seamless service delivery to our B2B customers. Key Responsibilities
- Outbound OperationsSupervise order fulfillment including picking, packing, staging, and dispatchEnsure OTIF (On Time in Full) delivery performance for customer ordersValidate shipping documentation and compliance with client requirements.Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and dispatch planningEnsure optimal utilization of vehicles and adherence to dispatch schedules
- Inventory & SystemsMaintain high inventory accuracy using WMS.Conduct cycle counts and support periodic stock auditsAnalyse discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Team LeadershipLead, coach, and develop warehouse associates and operatorsDrive performance through daily huddles and KPI trackingEnsure manpower planning and shift management
- Customer & Stakeholder ManagementAct as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and customer queriesEnsure service delivery as per SLAs agreed with B2B clientsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (transport, planning, CX)
- Safety & Continuous ImprovementEnsure compliance with Maersk safety standards and global best practicesDrive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projectsPromote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence Key Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Supply Chain/Logistics preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/contract logistics operations
- Hands-on experience in B2B outbound warehouse operations (inbound exposure is an added advantage)
- Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to work in shifts in a rapid-paced environment
