Database Administrator (Vijayawada)

Role: Database Administrator (DBA) Experience: 4+ Years Candidate location: Kolkata (Preferred), Remote candidates can apply as well Shift: Afternoon to late evening Expected Notice period: Immediate or maximum 30 days

Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of databases like MySQL
- Experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and optimization
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
- Understanding of database security, access control, and data protection
- Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting database issues
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and server environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent English communication skills (significant for client interaction)

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain database systems
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability
- Manage backup and recovery processes to prevent data loss
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
- Work with development teams to design and optimize database structures
- Handle database migrations, upgrades, and patches
- Maintain documentation for database architecture and processes
