FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) Operator/Technician …, Kesnand

Job Responsibility:-
· Part Preparation: Clean, degrease, and etch parts in preparation for testing.
· Testing Execution: Select work per instructions, apply fluorescent penetrant dye, allow for proper dwell time, develop, and wash components.
· Inspection & Interpretation: Examine parts under ultraviolet (black) light to detect and evaluate flaws (e.g., cracks, pores, or leaks).
· Documentation & Compliance: Ensure parts meet specifications, document inspection results in logbooks, and sign off on paperwork.
· Equipment Maintenance: Set up and calibrate processing equipment, and maintain a secure, clean work environment in accordance with safety standards Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of FPI Operation
- Knowledge of Quality function
- Knowledge of documentation as per AS9100 system
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery timelines Qualification & Experience:
· Diploma in Engineering/ Bsc. Chemistry with 1-2yrs of experience
· Certifications: Level II training and certification according to standards such as NAS-410 or ASNT levels (Level I or Level II).
· Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technique sheets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Safety & Ethics: High attention to detail, as undiscovered flaws can lead to severe structural failures in manufactured goods.
· Knowledge of GD&T;
· Additional knowledge of Quality function will be added advantage. Pay: ₹18,000.00
