About the Role

As a Project Manager – Solar EPC at Ilios Power, you will take full ownership of on-ground execution for large-scale solar power projects ranging from 100 MW to 300 MW, leading them from initial site mobilisation through successful commissioning and handover. You will be responsible for driving project timelines, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards while delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

Project Execution

- Lead end-to-end execution from mobilization to commissioning
- Ensure milestone-based delivery as per project schedule

Planning & Monitoring

- Prepare execution plans and monitor progress against timelines
- Optimize manpower, materials, and equipment utilization

Multi-Site Management

- Manage multiple project sites with consistent execution standards
- Ensure timely delivery across all locations

Contractor & Vendor Management

- Supervise contractors and vendors for quality, safety, and timelines
- Ensure adherence to contractual scope and resolve site issues

Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Coordination

- Oversee civil works, MMS installation, and electrical execution
- Ensure readiness for grid connectivity and commissioning

Commissioning & Handover

- Lead testing, commissioning, and project handover
- Coordinate with clients and authorities for approvals

Coordination & Reporting

- Act as a link between site and Head Office teams
- Share regular updates on progress, risks, and performance

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Conduct inspections and maintain regulatory compliance

Issue Resolution

- Identify site challenges and take corrective actions
- Ensure minimal delays and smooth execution

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- 12–15 years of experience in renewable energy or infrastructure construction with focus on utility-scale solar projects (up to 300 MW)

Required Skills

- Proven track record of leading end-to-end site execution and commissioning
- Experience managing multiple project sites simultaneously
- Strong expertise in construction practices, scheduling, and execution strategy

Preferred Skills

- Experience in EPC environments with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of regulatory approvals and commissioning processes
- Proven experience in managing contractors and vendor ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale EPC solar projects (100 MW+ capacity) at site level
- A strong on-ground leader capable of handling complex, high-value project execution independently

Pay range and compensation package

Salary commensurate with experience.
