Housekeeper/cleaner Matunga

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the school premises to ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities: Cleaning & Maintenance Sweep, mop, and clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and common areas daily Dust furniture, fixtures, windows, and equipment Clean and sanitize washrooms regularly Ensure proper disposal of waste in designated bins Hygiene & Sanitation Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the campus Refill consumables such as soap, tissue papers, and sanitizers Follow health and safety guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals Support Duties Assist in setting up rooms for school events, meetings, or activities Help in shifting furniture or materials when required Support staff and teachers with basic assistance tasks Monitoring & Reporting Report any damages, repairs, or maintenance issues to the supervisor Inform about shortage of cleaning materials or supplies Safety & Discipline Follow school policies, discipline, and safety protocols Ensure secure handling and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals Maintain punctuality and regular attendance

Skills & Requirements: Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards Physically fit and able to perform manual work Responsible, honest, and disciplined Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Prior experience in housekeeping (preferred but not mandatory)

Working Conditions: Full time role Work may involve standing, bending, and lifting May be required to work during school events or extended hours if needed

Additional Requirements: Police Verification is mandatory Compliance with school policies including child safety norms (POCSO awareness)

Pay: ₹10,000.00
- ₹16,000.00 per month
