Production Associate - Oil Processing (Whitefield)

- Inspection & Sorting: Source and inspect raw seeds (groundnut, sesame, coconut, etc.) for quality, moisture content, and purity.
- Cleaning & Sun-Drying: Clean seeds to remove stones or debris and manage the natural sun-drying process to reach optimal moisture levels before pressing.
- Machine Operation: Operate the traditional wooden press at low speeds to ensure the oil remains "cold-pressed" (typically below 40°C).
- Process Monitoring: Monitor the wooden pestle and mortar for wear and tear and ensure no external heat or chemicals are introduced during extraction.
- Waste Management: Efficiently collect and manage the leftover "oil cake" (de-oiled cake) for secondary use or sale.
- Natural Sedimentation: Oversee the traditional sedimentation process where oil is allowed to settle naturally for 24–48 hours.
- Manual Filtration: Perform basic cloth filtration to remove micro-impurities while retaining natural nutrients and aroma.
- Batch Testing: Conduct sensory checks (smell, color, taste) to ensure every batch meets brand standards.
- Bottling & Labeling: Accurately fill, seal, and label glass or eco-friendly bottles.
- Hygiene Standards: Maintain a "food-grade" clean environment. Sanitize equipment and storage containers daily according to FSSAI/HACCP guidelines.
- Inventory Logging: Maintain logs of raw materials used, oil yield per batch, and final stock levels. Pay: ₹15,000.00
