Job Summary The Commi is responsible for supporting kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring timely service delivery. The role requires basic culinary knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to work in a rapid-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and basic cooking activities. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area. Ensure proper storage of food items as per safety standards. Support senior chefs during food production and service. Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly. Maintain stock levels and inform supervisors about shortages. Follow company SOPs and food safety guidelines. Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies. Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
Requirements
12th Pass / Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred. 0–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage or kitchen operations. Basic knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards. Ability to work in rotational shifts. Positive communication and teamwork skills.
