Senior Accountant Executive (Jakkur)

Job Description – Senior Accountant Position: Senior Accountant Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Chief Finance Officer / Accounts Head Location: Jakkur, Bangalore Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee daily accouting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support management with mainly financial insights. The ideal candidate should have strong analyti cal skills, excellent knowledge of accounting standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities:  Manage end-to-end accou ting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.  Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.  Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other regulatory f ilings.  Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate pos ng of salary-related entries.  Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.  Review and verify vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.  Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits.  Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper deprecia on accoun ng.  Implement and improve internal financial controls and accoun ng processes.  Assist management with financial analysis, MIS reports, and decision-making support.  Ensure mely closing of monthly and yearly books of accounts.  Guide and support junior accountants and accoun ng staff. Requirements:  Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accoun ng, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).  5+ years of experience in accoun ng or finance.  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regula tions.  Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.  Excellent analytical, organiza tional, and communication skills.  Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
