Job Title:<\/b> Purchase Analyst <\/div> Department:<\/b> Planning <\/div> Location: <\/b>Peenya <\/div> <\/div> Job Purpose<\/b> <\/div> The Purchase Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data, optimizing purchasing strategies, and supporting the procurement team in achieving cost efficiency, timely sourcing, and supplier performance improvement. <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> Key Responsibilities<\/b> <\/div> <\/div> Analyze purchasing data to identify cost -saving opportunities and trends <\/div> <\/div> Prepare and evaluate RFQs (Request for Quotation) and POs (Purchase Orders) <\/div> <\/div> Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing) <\/div> <\/div> Compare vendor quotations and recommend best sourcing options <\/div> <\/div> Track material requirements and ensure timely procurement <\/div> <\/div> Maintain accurate procurement records and reports <\/div> <\/div> Support negotiation strategies with suppliers <\/div> <\/div> Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Stores, Quality) <\/div> <\/div> Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures <\/div> <\/div> Develop reports and dashboards for management review <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> Key Skills & Competencies<\/b> <\/div> <\/div> Strong analytical and problem -solving skills <\/div> <\/div> Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain <\/div> <\/div> Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis) <\/div> <\/div> Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) <\/div> <\/div> Good communication and negotiation skills <\/div> <\/div> Attention to detail and accuracy <\/div> <\/div> Ability to work under deadlines <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> Educational Qualification<\/b> <\/div> <\/div> Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain / Management <\/div> <\/div> MBA (Supply Chain / Operations) – Preferred <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> Experience<\/b> <\/div> <\/div> 1–4 years of experience in procurement / purchase / supply chain <\/div> <\/div> Freshers with strong analytical skills can also be considered <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/span> <\/div> <\/span>
