Production Supervisor (Coimbatore)

- Utilization of optimal manpower, Allotment of right operators in right location.
- Instructing operator on the article running & advice them on any precautionary measures to be taken for other special article running.
- Work allotment reporting by capturing operator wise, no of machine allocation.
- Plan preparation- Article wise to be run on a machine.
- IWO release articles to be planned accordingly and material indent has to be raised for the same.
- Requesting material indent to the stores and availing/ensuring the material for his entire shift, if he is in A shift he has to plan for the entire day material requirement.
- Capturing the production data in each 2 hrs.
- Analyzing lower efficiency machine/process & inform the same to operators or assist maintenance team mate to improvise the Production.
- Capturing the downtime for each & Individual machine, Intimate the same to the maintenance team member to restore the machine back to normal phase.
- To collect and record the machine speed, Cycle time for the allotted machines.
- Capturing the final shift data after 8th hour and closing the shift by entering the whole production, Rejection & downtime data for his shift.
- Capture article wise data in a separate summary sheet to evaluate Order plan vs actuals.
- Poor performing machines/Operators – production & rejection wise to be highlighted to the succeeding supervisor in the next shift.
- Transfer finished goods from Shop floor to Stores after getting concurrence from QC team mate.
- 5’s Implementation & material movement has to be done in such a way that accountability, traceability of the material in shop floor to remain intact. To take active participation in new product development in each segment.
- To reconcile the material taken from store against goods delivered to stores.
- To take WIP stock in all segments on month end reconciliation.
- To implement safety precautionary measures, Instruct operators to wear respective PPE’s which are bound to be worn in shop floor.
- To train & motivate workers on regular basis to develop improvement activities.
- To implement any TPM activity on bi monthly basis. Ensuring Adherence to ISO 9001 System in all aspects Pay: ₹21,000.00
