Senior Manager-Documentation (Perundurai)

Job Title: Senior Manager-Documentation Job Type: Full time Location: Perundurai Salary: As per Market Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager -Documentation to oversee all international shipping and compliance paperwork. In this role, you will manage end-to-end pre- and post-shipment documentation, ensuring 100% compliance with customs regulations and smooth cross-border operations. Key Responsibilities
- Documentation Management: Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate export documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Bill of Lading (B/L) / Air Way Bills (AWB), and SDF forms.
- Shipment Coordination: Liaise with Custom House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport agencies to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.
- Compliance & Customs: Ensure all export shipments adhere to international trade laws, customs regulations, and local port requirements.
- Banking & Financials: Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, bank negotiations, and post-payment receipt documents.
- Scheme Management: Assist with export incentive schemes like RoDTEP, Duty Drawback (DBK), and MEIS as applicable.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized physical and digital records of all shipments and generate performance reports for management. Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: [10 to 15 years] of proven experience in pre- and post-shipment export documentation.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and DGFT guidelines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; ability to communicate clearly with international clients and local authorities.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP/SAP systems.
